Meet Your InstructorÂ
Leon Aragon has over 15 years of social work experience in New Mexico, serving as a case manager, clinician, supervisor, program director, grant writer, and technical assistance provider across medical, school, community, and psychiatric settings. His career has focused on Indigenous communities, Populations of Color, and underserved groups in Arizona and New Mexico, spanning urban, rural, and Tribal areas. Leon’s work includes direct service, program implementation, facilitation, data collection, and technical assistance for populations such as Native Americans, Hispanics/Latinas/os, immigrants, refugees, veterans, mothers and infants, and youth violent offenders.
