About the course
Learning Objectives At the end of this workshop, the learner will be able to: 1. Identify key components and considerations in effective, collaborative treatment planning. 2. Apply the PLANS framework to guide individualized planning. 3. Construct measurable goals and objectives using the PGOI format. 4. Integrate client context into the development of realistic treatment plans.
Meet Your Instructor
Michelle Ball is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who grew up in rural Northern New Mexico and is currently practicing in the Albuquerque area. She received her MSSW from the University of Texas with a clinical concentration. She has worked in a wide variety of settings including outpatient, inpatient, residential, homeless programs, disability services and educational sites. Michelle has served as a case manager, therapist, coordinator and clinical supervisor. She is passionate about supporting mental health professionals in building practical skills to enhance their effectiveness, confidence and expertise in providing quality care to New Mexicans.
